3. Rusty Flakes (Russell) - 227
4. Scrubbers (Faith) - 219
Summary
Claire stormed the board for Fringe McGee in the first leg, coming in first with a comfortable win. I was particularly impressed because at this point in the evening she was cackling like an 1800's cockney landlady who's been at the gin. But she kept it together and pulled out the win. Lee came second for The Coke Heads, which was equally impressive as he was starting to talk gibberish thanks to the Pinot Grigio, or at least the Pinot Grigio that stayed in the glass, that is. But at least the herb hadn't made an appearance yet. Russell ended his evening of Yahtzee with a half decent score, but this only bought him third for Rusty Flakes, he was no doubt hampered by some memory or other, but he had a certain look in his eyes that informed me that it was probably best not to ask. Bit twitchy, if ya know what I mean. Faith managed last place for The Scrubbers, but again, not by much. She could have done a lot better had she not been disturbed for half an hour by my darling daughter, Heidi, who had been disturbed by our arse of a dog bounding up and down the stairs. But she didnt give up. Respect.

Summary
It was a bloody good night for me apparently. For context, this match was played on the same evening as the Core Match. So this was my SECOND victory in a single night. I don't say this to brag, I say it out of absolute wonderment. This NEVER happens. I usually have to wait weeks for a win, lest alone two in a row! The ironic thing is, as mentioned in the Core Match Summary, I was in a dreadful mood. Maybe there's something in this. Regardless, I managed to improve Rusty Flake's score by quite a bit. Not that it helped. We remain third in the table. Kerrie performed very well for The Coke heads. She played with focus and determination and ensured they remained second place in the table. Millie put in a decent score for Fringe McGee, despite having a babbling idiot for a boyfriend slurring in her ear for the duration of the match. She successfully helped Fringe McGee maintain top spot in the table for another week. On the opposite end of the spectrum, Molly made sure there was absolutely no doubt that the Scrubbers would remain at the bottom of the table for another week, if not for the foreseeable future.
