Summary
The first match of this very special bumper evening of Yahtzee (oh, and it was my wife's birthday apparently), was Kerrie versus Millie. It would be tricky to say whether the League Two champion (Kerrie) was excited to be playing as she spent most of her time with her head in the phone, booking something or other, while our dad was close by, sitting in a cold sweat, fearing the financial repercussions.
It didn't seem to matter whether Kerrie was excited or not as the first of a potential three games went to her in a pretty pedestrian fashion and Millie lost in her usual teenager-ish style, with a little grumble and a look on her face that seemed to be saying, "Whatever, d'ya think I care?". No, she probably doesn't. But she has that face plastered on her face so much of the time, it's difficult to tell what she actually cares for.
The second game was similarly pedestrian in that Kerrie merely just brushed Millie aside, won the match and got straight back to spending money. So, Millie is out, not that she seemed that bothered. Although the entire match was a rather trundling affair, it threw up something interesting in round two. Kerrie will face Claire. A champion of League One and a champion of League Two will face off, head to head! Who will prevail? Will it be John D. Rockefeller's illegitimate daughter or Carlsberg's unofficial spokeswoman? You'll have to wait and see!
