Summary
Things are now hotting up in the Champion's League. After this match there will be a mere three matches remaining. The Yahtzee calendar is coming to an end, which, to me at least, is a very sad thing. But I needn't worry, we only need to wait until the first of November for the League and this fine old League will follow soon after! Still, it seems like a bloody lifetime away! But that's me! Either way, we do still have a few games left, and there's still everything to play for... for some of us, at least!
I came first with a fairly lucky run of the dice. It was a hotly contested match, I had to use all my cunning and skills (which are, admittedly, limited), to stay ahead. But as it just so happened, the Yahtzee Gods were on my side for once. This is rarely the case. I remain first in the League with a good few points keeping me safe.
Kerrie came second in the match. The little tyke gave me a good old run for my money! She was nipping at my heels for the whole match. She even got herself in the lead a good few times. It was a true tussle and either of us could have taken the victory. Despite her best efforts however, she remains last in the League.
Claire finished third in the match. I hate to say it, but at this point she's just making up the numbers. I'm not too proud to say that I shed a little tear, so sad was I to see the downfall of this once steely warrior. She reminds me of a boxer that is way passed his prime but continues to fight, desperately clinging on to the relic of past glories. It's a tragic sight. Come on Claire, pull it back! She remains third in the League.
Russell, my sworn enemy based on proximity in the League alone, came fourth in the match, which suits me just fine. But he is not out of it yet... after all, a lot can happen in three matches! He needs to put in a bit of a shift from now until the end of the League, but it's by no means impossible! You'd better scramble around for all those marbles you lost Russ! He remains second in the League.
