Summary
In the name of full disclosure, this match may have the date of the 3rd of January, but it has actually taken quite a while to complete. Sometimes we can't always be together at the same time, so scores need to be set at other times. This is well within the BHO'S rules and regulations, but it can be a bit of a pain in the arse. But no matter, we got it done!!
Now, would you actually Adam and believe it?! Lee, yes Lee, came first in the Match. He's doing a good job at proving me wrong, as I had pretty much written him up as a bit of a wash out! But not this time. Lee, spark up a doob! You've done good brother! He moves up from joint thirteenth in the League to tenth!
Russell, once again, gave a good account of himself, finishing second in the Match. There were no lingering memories of Normandy, The Blitz or Hiroshima. Nope, that evening he was hyper focused! It paid off too! I think he's after a fourth title.... well, you would be, wouldn't you?! He moves from eighth in the League up to sixth!
Normally, I don't have much nice to say about Neil, who finished third in the Match. But what could I say about an impressive result like that? Well, nothing. Having said that, there is still no reason why I can't call him a twat, is there?... Neil, you're a twat. He moves from sixth in the League up to fourth. I'm impressed!!
Lord Jacobias of Grimwald's Hollow... or Jacob for short, finished fourth in the Match. I'm not gonna lie, it's pretty irritating that he is doing so well. It's not because he's good at Yahtzee, that I can respect. It's the way he brushes it off like it's just another day in Peasant's Helm. He remains first in the League.
There's a young lady that keeps turning up to play, I'm not sure where she came from, but either way, she says her name is Lily. And it turns out she finished fifth in the Match. Not a bad result for ET. Im joking, I'm joking! She is a wonderful human being, and it turns out that she is getting better at Yahtzee also. This is scary as we still don't know what other powers she may posess! She moves from twelfth in the League up to joint eleventh!
My beautif.... well, my wife, Faith, came sixth in the Match. She seems to be doing a fair job of coasting along, but she seems to be lacking that oomph that can truly give her the edge to make some real gains in the League. If she was in a League for competitive whining, she would be way out in front, but, alas, she isn't. She does, however, move up the League to ninth from eleventh.
Miles came seventh in the Match. He's been a bit of a disappointment this season, so much so that this was actually one of his better matches! This is a bit depressing considering he is usually a pretty solid performer. Come on Miles, pull yer socks up! He does increase his League position, though, from fifteenth up to fourteenth.
Jordan, the Welsh Hugh Hefner, came eighth in the Match. Y'know, more than anyone he has an excuse for not doing so well. When we had just met (he is bumping uglies with my daughter) he took me out for a drink... In Wales... And acted like it was the most natural thing in the world! But let me tell you, this Manchester United loving scumbag can pull like no man I have ever seen... I have NEVER seen a pocket so full of fella's numbers in all my miserable life. I had to hand it to him, he can really pull those sheep farmers! So no wonder he's distracted! Because of this he moves from seventh in the League down to eighth!
Grace, who always tends to stay close to her hairy man crumpet (Jordan) came ninth in the Match. She may have also been distracted trying to keep Jordan distracted from all the men. I don't blame her... but I bet she failed. Even so, she had a bloody good match. She moves from fourth in the League up second! Go on lass!
Claire, yes, CLAIRE, came tenth in the match! Now, this may not sound like a huge deal to you, but I can assure you that it will definitely have been a huge deal to Claire. Why? Well, since the start of the League, Claire, a former Champion, has been playing like a tennis player with no arms. This gives me no joy to say this, but unfortunately, it is the truth! She remains last in the League.
Kerrie, who finished eleventh, is another formerly strong player who seems to have fallen by the wayside. I don't know what it is about our former Champions, but they seem to have gone WAAAAAY off the boil!! She moves from tenth in the League down to joint eleventh with Lily.
I finished joint twelfth and I don't mind letting you know that I'm getting just a little bit cheesed off. I wouldn't mind if I were just a few points off, but this is getting bloody embarrassing! I think I need to get myself back into training (think the Rocky 4 training montage). I remain third in the League, but for how long I have no Idea!
James finished joint twelfth with my good self in the Match. Our very own personal penguin is still to make an impact in the League, this is mainly because he suffers from CSF or Chronic Screen Fixation, a condition that blights most of the young people his age. He could be an asset to the BHO if he could just tear hinself away from TikTok for a minute! He moves from ninth in the League down to joint eleventh with Kerrie and Lily.
Molly, my little wastling of a niece, finished fourteenth. Not surprising really. She has been far too busy to be concentrating on Yahtzee lately. I don't want to get into too much detail, but suffice it to say that she is not destined for a life in the monastery! She moves from joint thirteenth down to fifteenth in the League.
Millie, who finished fifteenth in the Match, was the biggest surprise of all! She's been on a serious tear recently. I have been honestly shocked, in a good way, at her fantastic performances! But not this week. Hopefully, like myself, this is just a blip and she'll be back to winning ways the next time we meet! She moves from second in the League down to fifth.
Chloe, regrettably, came last in the Match. I feel it would be underhanded of me to call her out though. She has had an awful lot to deal with lately. Loads of work shit, loads of life admin... oh, and a Turkish stalker. So maybe it's best to just leave that mess alone! She moves from fifth in the League down to seventh.
