I never, in my wildest dreams thought there could be a tragedy whilst playing a Live Match. But on this particular evening, it happened. A deed so evil that even the thought of it has made my pubes fall out. A tragedy that I can barely even talk about...
Lee... ahem... er.... Lee... (c'mon chris, you can do this)... Lee... finished... first.......... twice in a row. This is painful. Unprecedented. Not because he won. Fair play to him. After all, he is is my my most favouritest chunky man friend. My major reservations are because I know what's coming, and it will come. What will come? Yeah that's right... the Mouth! To be fair he was was gracious in victory, but I just cant see it staying that way. I am personally terrified, because I know it's coming and the rest of our competitors are looking a bit sheepish too. Lee, take it easy, we love you xxxxx
Jacob actually bothered to tear himself away from World of Warcraft this week to give us little people a humble game of Yahtzee. Whilst looking down on us from his pixilated ivory tower, he managed second in the match. And generally I would congratulate him. But I have recently found his IP address and I have been able to observe his online chats. It would seem that this cheeky, spindly little git thinks he's the king of Yahtzee! He has been telling all and sundry that he is basically the Yahtzee God!!!!! Who the HELL does he think he is? Jacob, we need to have some words!! Firstly about what you have been saying and secondly about those files I saw...
And then there was Millie, who was surprisingly another gobby little shite. Especially as she finished third. I am starting to get incredibly suspicious of this young lady. Mainly because she's Welsh... but also because she has found her voice. It seems she's getting a bit comfortable amongst the Yorkshire folk. But that particular annoyance must be saved for another time. Either way, she was pretty cocky when it came to her position in the match. All I can say is that it's a good thing that I was playing online at the time... otherwise...
I came, rather pathetically, fourth in the match! I don't even know if I can create a good enough excuse as to why...... nope, I played shockingly! Well, in the end I did. I thought, at least at the start, that I was doing okay! It certainly felt like it might have been a winning run! Then Lee, Jacob and Millie come along, and for no good reason (other than wanting to win. Pfft) they said, "get down, old man, you're a has been! A loser!" The bloody cheek!!!
But, at least I wasn't the worst player! Like Russell, who finished fourth. He wasn't that far behind me, but far enough... for me at least. You can't blame the old fella though, he was probably just preoccupied; there was a big match coming, the Final Match of The Champion's League that was to follow on the very next night after this one. For sure, we all like to win at any match, but at the cost of a Championship win? Oh no, no, no! I think he was saving all his "cunning" for the the real match the next day. That could be it, or he could just be a bit wank at Yahtzee. As always, I'll let you decide.
Claire, sweet, sweet Claire. Last place. Not only is she having a bit of a nightmare when it comes to Yahtzee, but something has happened with her that I never thought I would see in my lifetime. I once thought that Carlsberg was her strength, her elixir of the Gods, after all she had been supping it pretty much since she was off the teat! Well, she's only gone and exchanged the Danes for the Americans! She has taken, very recently, to supping Budweiser, a personal favourite of mine. Time will only tell if it will impact her game either positively or negatively, but one thing is for sure, she needs to do something! League four is nigh, and at the moment she is playing like an illiterate trying to recite the alphabet!
