I have never claimed to be the manliest man; I'm certainly not an alpha, I do enjoy the occasional gin and tonic and I cry at movies more than I would care to admit!
When I happened upon these bad boys (or good girls), while perusing the internet for some dice that really spoke to me, I wasted no time handing over my money.
I am a fella who loves the colour pink, but I am also a fan of subtlety too. I think these dice fit in to that bracket beautifully. The picture above does not really do the dice justice (I did try, but I am no photographer), they are undeniably pink, but still tastefully subtle.
With dice (please tell me I'm not the only one), it's not always about how they look while they are static, unmoved. A lot of their appeal can come from how they look when you roll them. I may make myself sound like a total nerd when I say this, like I care, but they are very satisfying to roll. They possess an almost ephemeral, spectral like quality to them when rolled in the sunlight. When I first rolled these dice and they caught the rays of that huge celestial ball of fire in the sky, I swear I saw God...
Okay, okay, I get that I'm probably overstating my point slightly (and I promise, that last sentence was a joke, honest)... they are just dice after all! But I think there is at least one person that knows what I'm prattling on about, to some extent at least!
Anyhoo, these dice are some of my newest dice but they are now in my regular Yahtzee Match rotation and they are quickly becoming some of my favourites. The only problem is when I pull them out, some of my more manly man friends often feel the need to say: "Pink? Really?!" The bloody philistines!
