She may only be turning seven today, but boy is my youngest daughter, Heidi, a force of nature!! We have a fiery relationship Heidi and I. When her Mum is at work, she is my best friend; I am forever playing either a school student that always gets the questions wrong or I am playing a Dad that forever has to tell her off because she has a boyfriend (teddy) that I am not supposed to know about! But when her Mum comes home she is usually tired and in need of Mummy cuddles. This makes me the enemy. Someone, please tell me this is normal!! Even so, she would have to do something pretty malevolent for her to be in my bad books. She is endlessly adorable, cheeky and now she's growing up, while watching the usual garbage on TikTok, attitude ridden. But I have two other daughters, so I know how it goes.
As the title of this post might suggest, Heidi is not yet a fully fledged member of the BHO, BUT she does love Yahtzee and I have no doubt she will be soon. She just suffers from the same condition most children of her age suffers from; a short attention span! She loves a single game of Yahtzee, and she's pretty flipping good at it too, but it would be almost impossible to get her to play every week. You know kids; sometimes they just cannot tear themselves from what they are doing to do something else, including eating their tea! So I'm not forcing it! I'm playing the waiting game!! Yahtzee is in her blood and she will soon hear the call of the dice!!
Heidi is the sweetest little human on the planet; she is so kind hearted and she is a grand master at sarcasm which makes me so proud! So, Heidi, you have the bestest Birthday ever. I hope you get all the presents you asked for and I know that all your family, plus all the rest at the BHO hope you have a fantastic day too! We love you millions! Plus there is a League position waiting for you when you're ready!!
