Summary
Well, the League is officially half way complete! Wow, doesn't time fly?!?! This was actually the most efficiently played League Match so far, so yay for that and thank you all for the help! And for participating. You mean the world to me!!
Top spot for the Match went to none other than Russell with a prolapse inducing score! This old fella is absolutely killing it at the moment. He is not just playing Yahtzee, he is absolutely dominating Yahtzee! So it may come as no suprise for you to learn that he is currently first (up from third) in the League! Very well done and very well deserved!
Molly came second in the Match. Yes... I know... Molly! It was a very good result from the slow one of the family. Well done Molly. I wouldnt expect too much from her in the future, but she deserves our praises for today at least!! She moves from fifteenth in the League up to thirteenth.
Jordan the Welsh came third in the Match! A very good result from a fella that is generally a bit shit... sorryJordan! This was either a fluke, or a sign of things to come. Only time will tell! He remains fifth in the League!
Jacob, the silent (very silent, usually) assassin, came fourth in the Match. He is easily one of the BHO's more consistent players, but he has struggled in the past month or so. BUT, he seems to be turning a corner. No, it wasn't a paticularly barnstorming perfomance but it was decent enough to keep the young nerd well in the mix. He's a sneaky git when he wants to be and he remains fifth in the League.
Fifth in the Match went to Lee. A player that struggles with humility. Where Jacob could win and he would barely raise a smile; Lee might beat you by a mere three points, but boy, just listen to him go. Honestly, when he wins, you would swear he was Jesus Christ himself! He is a lovely lad, don't get me wrong... but one does tend to love onesself! He does remain seventh in the League however. But it was joint seventh last week but now he sits in seventh all on his own this week!
Then it was my turn, sixth in the League. And I'm not ashamed to say (well, I am) that it was a shitty score. This is not an ideal result for myself, but it is becoming expected at this point!! I move from seventh in the League up to sixth. Ouchhh.
Kerrie came seventh in the Match. Our League 2 champion, much like Claire, our League 1 champion has gone a bit off the boil. This to be expected, we can't all be perfect aĺl the time! My point is, yes she has gone a bit crap, but that's the way it goes and that's the way it seems to have gone! But if anyone can turn her fortune around its kerrie!! She is definitely our very own Lego based warrior!! And good on her!!! She remains ninth in the League!
Eighth in the Match went to my very own Grace! She is another competitor with great potential, but I think she wastes it because she is now based in Wales... and you know what they're like; she's probably too busy darning her own wool socks rather than struggling to do the maths she needs to score her match, because... y'know... Welsh... She moves from first in the League down to third. And that IS a shame!
Ninth place in the Match went to Millie the destroyer! Not that she destroyed much this time around. It was a pretty subdued performance from her compared to her previous performances. But, hey... you can't win 'em all! But she'll be back. Because she is bloody ruthless! Have you ever got into a debate with her? She remains fourth in the League.
Claire came tenth in the Match. Another middling score from the has-been princess of Yahtzee. You might think me a bit mean, but I'm just stating the facts. She has the power to affect her fortunes, but the way she's going so far, perhaps she might benefit from a prayer as well! She remains fourteenth in the League.
Chloe came eleventh in the Match. She is another one that is having a hard time improving her position and is merely maintaining it. I think some of these people need to start taking the initiative... me included! Chloe remains tenth in the League.
Lily came twelfth in the Match. Now, you may look at her Yahtzee trajectory and believe that she is merely riding the waves of mediocrity also, but I don't think so. I think Lily genuinely does try everytime she plays, unfortunately I think she is simply still trying to find her Yahtzee groove. She hasn't found it yet obviously, but I have faith that she won't stop trying! She does however drop from thirteenth in the League down to the very bottom.
Thirteenth place in the Match went to Faith. Even after twenty five years of us being together, she is still a bit of an enigma. Obviously I know her in all the obvious ways, but when it comes to the way she operates and the way she does things, I still haven't got a clue. Yahtzee is no different. In case you don't know her, then Faith seems to be in a world of her own. So I really don't know how she approaches a Yahtzee Match or even what she thinks about it. I can only hope she enjoys it and that her performances improve at some point. She remains twelfth in the League.
Miles, however, a proven "playa" in the Yahtzee world, came fourteenth in the Match! Is he doing fantastically this time around? No. But things are different for him right now. He has himself a new love interest, and you know what it's like when you're fourteen and in love, nothing much else matters, so for now he gets a pass... we were all young once! He remains eleventh in the League.
Finally, last place in the Match went to Neil. This is actually a pretty surprising score for the large nostrilled "human". He has actually been making a few waves in the League. No, he hasn't hit the dizzy heights of first in the League but he has kept himself well and truly in the mix! Unfortunately though, because of this shonky result he moves from sixth in the League down to eighth. But he is still not beyond redemption!!
