Summary
Friday popped it's sweaty head up once again, and so did the Live Match. So let's see what our ragtag band of rapscallions got up to this week.
Claire came first. Another decent score from the hefty one. Could this be the blazing return of Bella? I hope so. Things are always more fun when the Matches are squeaky squeaky and tight at the top!
Unfortunately, because of Claire's result, I only managed second. And I was doing so well! Same as last week, and I think the week before (I could be wrong), I played well, got the big scores, except Yahtzee, and I was coasting. Then Claire gets a sodding Yahtzee and fate fists me up to the elbow! Typical.
Millie came third. I tell ya, she's a little bruiser. She scraps for every point she earns. Even I'm not as scrappy as Millie, probably because I'm pretty sure she could kick my arse. But this is the thing; it doesn't matter if you come first every week as long as you give it your all, every time. And, boy, she does. It must be a Welsh thing. Them sheep can be pretty stubborn!
Lee, Millie's bit of foreskin, came joint fourth. I find it Ironic that Lee championed Yahtzee at the beginning while Millie was kind of just swept along with it and now she is dominating him... in Yahtzee as well!
Kian came joint fourth with Lee. While he remains our newest player, you have to respect the fact that he hasn't missed a Live Match since the first one he played. That kind of commitment COMMANDS respect. To be fair, he's doing quite well. I don't think he's quite familiar with all the nuances yet, but he rarely finishes last!
Russell, who really should know better by now, finished sixth. Being that it was just a Live Match, he may have let his guard down a little bit, which is not a bad strategy; saving your best for when it really matters, but I actually think he was just a bit shit.
Finally, there was Molly. Molly is a fascinating player, because everytime she plays, you know exactly where she is going to finish: last. But at least she tries!
