Upcoming - Head to Head Championship - Open Competition

Hello my friends and fellow boardgamers. For two years now, the BHO Yahtzee Organisation has been hosting Leagues and Knockouts. All of these have been between members of the BHO and have been more or less "in person" affairs. Well, on the 13th of June our annual Head to Head Knockout Championship returns and I thought it would be great to open it up to you good people.
If you feel like a challenge and want to pit your Yahtzee prowess against other like minded individuals, we would be more than happy to have you.
The competition will involve you battling one other person in a best of three Match. If you lose, you are out. If you win, you move on to the next round and on and on it goes until there are only two players remaining. The winner of the final battle will be crowned the Champion and will win a cash prize and an exclusive BHO Champions badge. Opponents will be chosen at random. These matches can be played exclusively online, just ensure that you are available on the date that your match is set (this will always be on either a Friday or a Saturday, and will likely last a couple of months). International players are welcome, just please account for the time difference before you commit to playing. The BHO is an English organisation so our timezone is Greenwich Meantime.
There will be an entry fee of £3 GBP. This money will go into the pot for the prize fund and ONLY the prize fund. All proceeds will go to the Champion and also the second and third place players. You are free to drop out of the competition at any time, just be aware that the entrance fee is NON REFUNDABLE!
If this is purely a money issue for you greedy weenies, as I know it might be, you can keep up to date with who is involved and what the latest prize pot contains, just go to: https://bhoyahtzeeorg.blogspot.com/p/the-bhos-coffers.html?m=1

Please note: All matches will have a "referee". We use a website called buddyboardgames.com for our online matches. Unfortunately there is no setting to be a spectator. This means that technically the referee will be a player. However, they will score a zero in every category, meaning all matches will be unadulterated by the referee, but they do need to be present to record all results. This is not ideal, I know, but so far it is the best option available to us. If you think you may have a better option, please feel free to let us know!
Finally, this Championship will be a once a week affair. We may be able to fit in more than one match over a single weekend, but obviously that depends on availability. What I am saying is, depending on the amount of entrants, this Championship could go on for quite some time. That's just something to be aware of before you commit.

If this sounds like something you might be interested in, please contact me at bhoyahtzeeorg@gmail.com. Entrance fees will only be accepted three weeks before the Competition, you will be contacted before the Competition starts to confirm your entrance and recieve payment (PayPal only).

In the meantime, if you have any questions, feel free to ask me over email and I will be more than happy to address them.

Finally, please be aware that this our first time opening a Competition up to the general public and we are not experts. As such there may be some teething troubles along the way, but please stick with us, all matches will get played fairly and all prize money will be distributed as previously discussed. Thanks for understanding.

Thanks for listening and I hope to see you there! Happy rolling!!
