Summary
Well, Friday came around again, as it usually does, and I have to say. It was a weird one. Why? Well, firstly, it was a close match, which is not usually the case. Secondly, we had a new player, "Choi" who thinks it is acceptable to bugger off before the Match is over!! But we'll get to that.....
Claire came first, showing us that she still has the goods. In the Yahtzee sense... certainly not the biological sense. I now feel queasy. BUT she has proved over the last couple of weeks that she still has some of that champion's fighting spirit! Will it last? I don't know. But I can't wait to find out!
I came second. Not bad, not bad! It has got to a point now where I am actually expecting to do a bit shit! But, hey! Second is second, and I will boody well take it! Trouble is (not to give away any spoilers... huh?) it was actually a good Match! Every one of us put in a shift! This is by no means a bad thing! I personally think it is fantastic when you have to fight for supremacy. That is what Yahtzee is all about! Yep, even when I'm playing. Trouble is I don't often win when everyone is playing well.... grrr... but I would much rather lose a game I am enjoying than win a game that is tedious... well, I don't know about that, but... y'know....
Millie, our darkest of horses, came third. It's getting to a point now that I am even scared to looke her in the eye. She has a kind of dead eyed gaze that tells you: "you are nothing! Stare at me all you want... but the longer the stare, the worse the stabbing will be!". Basically what I'm saying is she is a mini Welsh psychopath, she scares the bejeezus out of me and she is pretty good at Yah.... Sorry, SORRY, she is FANTASTIC at Yahtzee (please don't hit me)...
Kian, our resident noob, came fourth. But his score was by no means a shit one! Nope, it was a very worthy score! It was just a shame that he was held back by even worthier scores. But if I know Kian like I think I do (not in the biblical sense, of course!), he will not let this score distract him. He'll be back and he'll come back stronger.... and HARDER! Just as long as he doesn't suggest putting his "hardness" anywhere near me this time!! I still love the fruity little git though!
Lee, lovely Lee. Special, "special " Lee. Lee, Lee, Lee, Lee, Lee "sitting at the back of the happy bus" Lee.................. came fifth in the Match. He struggled a bit this week, but you can't blame him, he was probably too preoccupied trying to watch his fingernails grow or staring at his reflection in the mirror, hoping that it would make a mistake! Bless him!
Russell, the absolute Don of all Dons. The head honcho, the big cheese, the creamy curd, the one trues arbiter of right and wrong and the biggest swinging dick in West Yorkshire and possibly the entitire world (I'm telling ya, like a horse! (Just don't ask me how I know....) ...... did not do so well, finishing sixth. A rather dire result for a man that has been rumoured to become the next pope.
Then, in seventh place, was "Choi". Now, who the hell is Choi? This is a great question! The answer is, I have no bloody idea!!! Don't get me wrong, the Friday night live Match is an open game and anybody is free to take part! The more the merrier as far as I'm concerned! But it is quite unusual that a player enters that is a complete unknown. This is fine however and I do hope that they/it/he/she/they/them joins us again. What I will say is if you are going to take part, please play until the very end as Choi decided to bail out of the Match with only one roll to go! Luckily enough this did not matter as they were the last to roll, but if it had been halfway through the match and they were, say, fourth to roll, we would have no way of continuing the match as I have no physical wy of removing them from the Match so we could proceed!! So, just bare it in mind you lovely, LOVELY people!! So, as Choi decided to leave only their score is not their full score, but it is the score they had set before they left!
But it seem that buggering off early won't even see you at the bottom of the Leaderboard these days, and Grace played the full match and came last with a dismal score!! But I am certailnly not having a go as she is a pretty consistent player and everyone is allowed at least one bad day at the office every now and again!! But come on lass, that was pretty bad!

P.S. if you happen to be the aforementioned "Choi", let me know who you are! I would love a dice based chat with you! I also hope you return for another Match! Just finish it next time!! Much love!!
