Summary
I bloody love a game of Yahtzee. Calm down, there's a lot about me that you don't know! So, it should come as no surprise that I couldn't wait for this week's Live Match to get underway. Honestly, on a Friday, I'm counting down the seconds until we can get the dice rolling. What's that? Yes, you are correct, I am a sad human being. But, when the highlight of your weekday is deciding which hand you're going to use to scratch your testicles with, an end of the week Yahtzee Match is actually quite a big thing. Please... send help...
Millie surprised the lot of us by coming first this week. I have to admit that I thought that was the first time in a while that she had claimed victory, but I was soon corrected and told that she is actually no stranger to victory when it comes to the Live Matches! I quickly retracted my libellous comments, got called an old git and grovelled for forgiveness. Which I did not recieve. But well done Millie. Very, very well done. And I'm sorry... so very, VERY sorry! Love you...
Jacob was very nearly not even part of tonight's match, he managed to join the match with mere seconds to spare! THEN, the lucky twat only goes and pulls a second place performance out of his crocheted bag! But, he's a slippery young thing (ask his exes) so it wasn't exactly a shock!
Faith came third, which honestly WAS a shock! She has been holding her own recently, it has to be said (she certainly hasn't been holding mine) but still, third is a bloody fine position for her as she is usually a bit of a mid table dweller. But not this week...
Lee "Dr. Greenthumb" came smack bang in the middle of the table this week. I think he is still trying to configure a few things after he fell in love with the 'erb. Basically he's trying to strike a balance between getting monged out while retaining some level of basic motor skills and critical thinking at the same time. As you you can probably tell, he's not quite there yet, but he's getting a little bit better every time. Plus I can't be too harsh, he does make a bloody good logo!
I did not fare so well, I came fifth, which for a Yahtzee God (ha ha... yeah, right) is not optimal! I would love to come up with some incredibly plausible excuse like I was distracted because my dog was having a seizure or something, but no... the little shit can't even be ill when I need him to be!! Typical. Unfortunately I just played like garbage, and I have nobody else to blame but... everyone else... because of course it wasn't my fault. So hopefully next time everyone else will behave themselves and I might just do a little bit better!!
On the plus side, Claire did even worse than me, which is always a good thing. Not that I'm bitter or anything, it's just always great to see my elder sibling do worse at me at everything... ever... in life. Only joking, I only beat her by three points... but still... UP YER ARSE..... HAHAHAHAHAHA.... Ahem... anyway. Moving on.
In last place, which was a true shocker... was Russell. He didn't lose by a mere few points either... he was decimated. This is actually... and honestly... a true surprise. Russell has become one of the BHO's perennial dependables. This has not always been the case, but he has truly come into his own. If you ask him, he will no doubt blame the online format that we use, but you can take that with a grain of salt, as we all play under the same circumstances. Just face it Rusty, you had a shit day. But he'll be back! Whether he's any better remains to be seen... but still...
