Summary
Another week, another cock up! And, for the record, I blame it all on Russell! Normally when we hold these live matches, something goes wrong and we inevitably have to resort to switching lobbies to get back on track. This is not great when you are attempting to entice new potential players join us. But Russell's cock up was the gold standard! I'd just shared all my posts on social media, telling people how to join and what lobby to login to. But Daddy decided to join thirty minutes too soon and bugger it all up so we had to change lobbies before we even got started! So any potential new players wouldn't have had a clue where to go! Cheers ya crusty gribbler. But I'm not one to dwell on such things... or so I keep telling myself.
We did get a game going though, and it was a pretty bloody close one at that! Faith, Mrs "I don't ever win", came first this week with a fine display. Once again she did it all while attending to my daughter and giving me the cold shoulder for one of a multitude of reasons. I don't even bother to ask anymore, she has her reasons, and if it was that important she would tell me... boy, would she tell me! But anyway, congratulations Faith. Russell, the "crumbly culprit", took second place this week. He was actually looking like the favourite to win for a good long time until Faith went and got a Yahtzee. Hard luck Rusty, but it serves you right, you horrible, nasty man... I came third place, by just a few points. But despite that, I was merely happy to be in the top half of the results for a change! Miles came joint fourth. He also looked like he might be a likely winner, but it didn't happen today. It was not actually a bad result for the stereotypical moody teenager as I think I may have accidentally guilt tripped him into playing in the first place. It is, however, comforting to know that he will play just to make his Dad happy. I may have to exploit that fact in the future. Jacob finished joint fourth with Miles. Now, being the petty individual that I am, this made me happy. For too long Jacob has dominated these live matches and it's about time that he was handed a dose of humility for once. He can't half be a cocky little shit. He's like a lankier version of Lee. God help us. We certainly don't need another one. And finally, at the very bottom, was Claire, but again , not by much. It is a testament to how hotly contested this match was, because Claire never finishes last... just in life. Only joking Claire. Love you. I say this not to spare her feelings, but because I may need a favour soon. Looooooooove Yoooooooooooou!!!!!!
