Summary
Friday's come around again.... and you know what that means!! Yeah! Another bloody Live Match!! And what a twisty turny Match it was!
Claire topped the charts this week... amazingly. I'm not even really sure how she did it. One minute it was between my Father and myself, the next minute she was in the bloody lead! She must have been supping some performance enhancing lager to win with the dreadful results she's been getting. The committee WILL be investigating...
Russell came second. He's had his Yahtzee cap on lately, there's no mistaking that! I think, in the past few weeks, he has really thrown off the shackles of his many, many...... MANY former lives and applied himself to this great sport (yes, sport) of ours. I know he is a Champion, and he did bloody well to earn that title. But now he seems driven. He's like a dog with a bone, a lion with a kill in it's sights, Gary Glitter with... well, never mind, you know what I'm saying!
Miles, my beautiful, floppy fringed son came third. Obviously, when you have a son, it is perfectly natural to be aggressively competitive with them. However, I'm starting to learn that even naked mole rats can beat me at Yahtzee... so, well done Miles! You have beaten me........... again.
I came fourth. I have to admit, I was still steaming over the previous week's result (go check it out), but at the start I was doing fantastic. I was getting everything I needed and I was in the lead for a good portion of the Match. But.... fate then spanked me like a naughty six year old in Catholic school and I came fourth. I actually think I might give up Yahtzee and take up a real sport... like tiddlywinks. But I'd probably suck at that too... so what's the point?!?
In fifth was Millie, our Welsh goddess! I was actually surprised to see her play, as her husband-to-be was on his way home from work. Now, if you know anything about Millie and Lee you will know that they come as a pair. If there's no Lee, there's no Millie. If there's no Millie, there's no Lee! This is not a bad thing, it's actually quite sweet (just give it a few years). But she turned up, alone, and to be honest, she actually played pretty... crap. BUT, she was there! And I appreciate it..... love you!!!!
And, in last place, was Kian. A newbie to the Live Match circuit. BUT, I have to say, he did pretty well.... even though he's got a perm. Like I said, it was a bloody close Match. Okay, he wasn't gonna win, but I was surprised by how much he knew and where he needed to score! Especially since this is like his third match ever, and he was on his own this time. So, Kian, come back next time, ya never know!! Plus he HAS beaten me. Although, that might not be too much of a boast!!
