Summary
There were a couple of notable absences from this week's Live Match. Claire, a seasoned veteran of the Live Matches, was not with us as she was out on a work's Christmas do, although I have a sneaking suspicion that she would have been happier playing Yahtzee. Jacob, another veteran, couldn't make the Match either. He was far too busy on World of Warcraft having a nerdgasm with his "raiding party". But, whatever blows your frock up I suppose!
But, despite the absences, we carried on regardless and had a bloody good time without them!
Millie came first with, it has to be said, a pretty average score. But that is pretty unimportant when your opponents score less than average scores! So it's no less of an achievement, sometimes you gotta take victory when it comes along, not just when it's spectacular!
Molly came second, which is not bad considering she is a miserable git and I practically had to beg her to play. She's not very sociable, unless someone has offered to pay for her beer that is!
Russell took third place. This is where the scores really start to dip. When it comes to the Live Matches, Russell is a bit of a wild card. One week he can play great, the next minute he perfoms like a porn star with erectile dysfunction. He blames the technology we use, but that's what all the old gribblers say when they're playing a bit shit...
Fourth place found me nestled firmly within it's grasp. This loss hit me quite hard as for the first half of the game I was just about in control. Then it all went tits up as Yahtzee can have the habit of treating it's players like that at least 50% of the time!
And in last place, with a bloody miserable score was Lee. It's not that he couldn't have got a better score, it's because he threw his toys out of his pram and threw a wobble, all because the game "cheated" him. He does have a tendency to be a bit over dramatic, so I guess he thought he'd teach the app a lesson. Who knows how his weed addled brain works...
