Before Jordan came into my life (yes, MY life) I have to admit that I was completely ignorant about all things Welsh. I did know that they make funny tasting cheese on toast and do questionable things to woolly mammals. Beyond that though, I knew nothing. But now I know Jordan, I know... pretty much the same as I did before. But no matter.
Jordan came into our lives through Grace, my daughter. She must have caught his eye while they were at university together, or the other way around, but either way they got together and after that... well, I don't want to think about those things. It didn't take long for them to get pretty serious, and now she is settled in all the way over in Wales, doing very well with a fantastic job!
When I first met Jordan, I have to say I was disappointed. Not because he's a twat or anything like that, but more that he is a fine figure of masculinity... which I am not. He's an impressive hunk of a man with a complexion that makes him look like he was raised in Rio de Janiro, Brazil, not drizzly Wales. He also has the most fantastically shaped head. Think peanut with a great jawline!
When I first approached Grace and Jordan with the idea of joining the BHO, they were not exactly enthusiastic. But they eventually joined in on a few Live Matches then they decided to take the plunge and join the League. If I'm honest, I kind of wish they hadn't. Jordan has proven himself to be a very capable player and the pair of them are doing incredibly well! I can see League wins in their future!
Anyway, today is the young lad's Birthday, so I thought it was only right to let him know that he is a very welcome addition to our family and an incredibly deserving member of the BHO! So, Jordan, from myself and all of us at the BHO, we hope you have a great Birthday and continue to have many more! We love you lots... just start losing a bit more...
