After 5 weeks of battling, fourteen bold competitors have fallen by the wayside having fought valiantly for a place in the final of the BHO Head to Head Championship. But, ultimately, only two could prevail. Russell, the sharpest OAP in the nursing home was the first to get through with a dominating performance over Lee. Claire, our two time champion and domesticated troglodyte got through after a rather shaky match against James. So the final is drawing near, and all I can say is good luck to them both. Oh, and Claire, win again and you're out....
Once the Head to Head is completed and the champion is crowned, I think it's only right that we take a break for a few weeks. We have been going at it pretty solid for well over a year now (wish I could say the same about my love life) so I think it's time. It won't be for long. When we come back it will be time for League Three and the conclusion (finally) of the Core Championship and the Team Championship. SO KEEP YOUR EYES PEELED!
Despite the break, we will be proceeding with the live matches, in the hopes of enticing new meat into the fold (did that sound creepy?) and the Monday posts will continue as normal because I can't help myself.
