BHO Live - 11/04/25 - Summary

With me being away for a week, spending my time on one of the most dreary stretches of coastline England has to offer, you would think that all things Yahtzee would come to a hault. NEVER! I said there would be a live online game this Friday just gone, and by god I'm a man of my word. There were seven of us this time, but still no newbies. Nevermind, I am ever the optimist, and I will continue to spread the word for as long as it takes! I even managed to record the scores, something I failed to do last time. So let's get into it...

Results
1. Jacob - 236
2. Chris - 194
2. Russell - 194
4. Claire - 182
5. Grace - 169
6. Faith - 161
7. Miles - 144

Summary
With there being seven of us all playing together, the game took us about an hour to get through, so we only managed to fit one game in. There was a bar to get to after all, and who doesn't want to pay seven quid for a pint?! But it was a good old game, full of ups and downs.
Jacob, one of the newer members to join our brethren, took the top spot with a rather impressive display. He must have crocheted himself some dice (he's a bit of a granny like that) and got to practicing. Good on ya lad! I managed to pull out joint second with a fairly decent score. In fact, joint second was actually a pretty decent showing from me as I was actually sat in the on site pub at the time, ears bleeding from the entertainment; a Temu version of Kylie Minogue. Dreadful. Russell also came joint second. He was obviously not being haunted by memories of the time he was on sentry duty during the time he was in the foreign legion and they came under attack. He died that day. Anyway, it was decent score from a decidedly average player. I can say these things because I am also decidedly average, a bit like how black people can say... well, you know. Claire came fourth, continuing her iffy run of form. Poor claire... Ha... Ha... Ha... only joking. Kind of. Sort of. Not really. Grace managed fifth, which was understandable as she was in the same room as me at the time, suffering the same distractions. But she's also a bit crap, so I'll let you decide which was to blame, but I know what my money's on. Faith came sixth, playing from the cozy confines of the caravan, in relative silence, so she really had no excuse. But, I'm not going to have a go too much, she has a tendency to turn into Mrs. Hulk when I anger her, and I'm not ashamed to tell you that she scares me. She is just the type of wife that would seperate me from my manhood as I sleep and that is a terrifying thought, so I'll leave it there. And then there's Miles, poor old Miles, came in last with a rather pathetic score, which to be fair is quite unusual for him as he is easily one of the most level headed and consistent players in our faction. But, once again, he was subject to the same distractions as Grace and myself, listening to Yoko Ono screech from the stage, attempting, in vain, to entertain us. But someone has to come last, god knows it's been me often enough! Commiserations Miles, you'll smash it next time!

And that just about sums up Friday's live match. But it won't be the last we hold, so if you fancy a match, keep up to date with our live matches by checking out our Upcoming Events page on this blog or keep an eye on our Facebook group "BHO Yahtzee Organisation" to make sure you don't miss out.

  Till then you lovely people!
