Summary
Another week, another live. Yep, we're committed. Once again, no new faces, but a good match nonetheless... especially for me. I claimed the victory, thanks to two beautiful, well timed, well deserved Yahtzees and my bonus. It felt bloody good, let me tell you, and you can't really blame me as it doesn't really happen very often. So forgive me for feeling temporarily awesome, but don't worry, it won't last. Jacob came second, but the lucky git won the previous two live matches so it was about time that he was brought back down to Earth. It was necessary as he was getting just a little too big for his home crocheted boots. Faith, my fantastic, if slightly naggy wife took third place. She actually gave a good performance, which is not usually too common an occurrence. This is not because she can't play, it's usually due to the fact that she has an inability to concentrate on one thing at a time. But it's not just her. Men are pretty single minded, but women will tend to do one thing while simultaneously thinking about a hundred and fifty other things, which can prove detrimental when it comes to any competitive pursuit. But you've gotta love her, she is usually right on the ball with most things. Shame the same can't be said about Yahtzee. Love you my hairy valentine. Russell came in fourth. I was surprised that he even played as he had a plane to catch. He had to get himself to Vatican City as he was one of the main pall bearers at the pope's funeral. He used to be his nanny when he was a baby, you see. But, he was present and he put in a reasonable performance, but you can't blame him for being slightly preoccupied. Kerrie (who named herself "Bored" for the match. Hilarious) came in fifth. In sixth place was Claire, continuing her run of disappointing performances. I'm not sure what's going on with her, but at the moment she is a shadow of her former self. I'm not usually one to revel in other people's misfortunes, but she has been a bit of a gobshite since she won her second championship badge. So, as far as I'm concerned it's poetic justice. Ha... ha... Miles finished in seventh position, an unusually low position for the boy who is usually irritatingly consistent when he plays. He was no doubt preoccupied with dreams of becoming the next Kurt Cobain, which is a shame, he could at least try to emulate someone who actually had talent, but hey ho. Right at the bottom of the heap was Lily, bless her. I'm still not entirely convinced she actually knows how to play. She may be at a disadvantage to be fair. Her head is so small that there has to be a limit to how much information she can fit in it.
Thanks for joining in you lovely people and I'll see you all next week xxxx
