Summary
Well, we're over half way through the League and we are now crawling slowly towards the finish line, and before you can blink, it will be here before you know it! Alright, it may take a bit longer than that, but you know what I mean!
Lee, our resident space man, came first in the Match with a surprisingly good score. And I know what you are all thinking... and the answer is yes, he WAS on another planet while he did it, so I gues he deserves super congratulations! He moves from sixth in the League up to fifth.
Jordan, our Welshy Welshy Welsh contender proved that he certainly has what it takes to move amongst the Yahtzee big boys and he came send in the Match. Well done! I'm starting to see a real contender here! He moves from fourth up to third in the League! If only the Welsh didn't spit when they talked...
Neil came third in the Match... another shocking result! What the hell is going on? He even seemed to be able to add up his scores on his own. The home schooling must be paying off. Yes... he's nearly seventy. He remains eighth in the League.
King Yahtzee, or Russell, came fourth in the Match. A totally respectable result. The wiley old dog is keeping himself well in the mix, as you would expect the King of Yahtzee to do! He is the king after all. He remains second in the League, but I expect he has a few tricks up his sleeve!
I came fifth. YES, me! The founder and major champion of this whole endeavour, came fifth. But, to be fair, just because I love the game... and spend hours and hours in a year talking/organising/living/breathing it... it doesn't mean I have to be any good at it. Which is just as well. Beacause I came fifth. And I remain seventh in the League... enough said... who asked for your opinion anyway??
Grace fell a little short this time around and came sixth. Not dreadful, but she doesn't want to make a habit of it! She has been destroying the League recently (cheating? We may may need an internal enquiry!) But she remains first in the League... for now... or at least until we prove that she's been cheating!!
Lily! ANOTHER bloody shocker!! Since when does Lily ever come anywhere other than last?! But NO. That's an incredibly cynical way to look at things. So let me try again... ahem... Lily came seventh in the Match... Woooooow! WELL DONE! No, seriously though, and in all honesty, and I'm not even joking, and all jokes aside... she has been improving lately. Is she destined for the top spot? No. But improvement is improvement! So good on ya ET. She moves from joint thirteenth in the League up to twelfth. And that IS an improvement...
EVEN CLAIRE, our fallen angel, came eighth in the Match. This may not sound very impressive... but nor has she been very impressive herself... she has been a major disappointment! But! And I'm not even being biased here; she is my sister, and I love her. But because I love her... I do have to say.... she remains last in the League... OUCH!
Molly came ninth in the Match, which is another surprise, because she can't even spell her own name, let alone do the basic maths that Yahtzee requires (but to be fair, I struggle sometimes... misspent youth), but she did, and she is holding her own. Is Vodka more important to her than Yahtzee? Yes! Of course! But she is still trying! That's the most important part! Becauses of her "dedication", she remains eleventh in the League.
Chloe came tenth in the Match, just barely breaking two hundred. But with everything else she has going on in her jumbled existence you have to give it to her for joining in in the first place. Chloe, we are glad to have you... but do better. She does, however move from tenth in the League up to ninth!!
Millie came eleventh in the Match... it's as if she is trying to prove me wrong now! I have been singing her praises for months... because she is a Yahtzee demon when she wants to be. But I don't think she likes compliments, because now, or at least this time, she played a bit baba. But everyone is allowed a shitty day, Lord knows that I have had enough of them, so hopefully this won't damage her chances too much... But she does move from fifth in the League down to sixth! Come on lass! Stop letting Lee lead you astray! ARE YOU LISTENING LEE?!?!
Faith came twelfth in the Match. If I'm honest, I have run out of excuses as to why she might have played a bit shonky... so, sorry Faith, you were just a bit shit. She moves down from joint thirteenth in the League to fourteenth, all on her stoney lonesome!
Joint thirteenth in the Match was Gorlock... sorry, Jacob. Sometimes it's hard to distinguish between his online name and his real name! I will say though, once he found out where he had finished in the Match, he did come searching for me... and he found me... and I have to say, I've never had to use a haemorrhoid donut before, but I did when Jacob found me... He moves down from second in the League down to third........ prick.
Miles joined Jacob in the Match (because Jacob is a pervert) in joint thirteenth in the Match. But it's okay, because Miles is a tart. But I thought he could have done a bit better! Honestly! What is he for? I teach and I teach and I teach! But does he listen? NO! (That might not be a bad thing). Come on Miles, I know can do better! He moves from joint thirteenth to thirteenth on his own.
In last place was Kerrie. This is understandable. She is away on holiday at the moment. Who knew that Airbnb rented out entire countries to stay in? Either way, most of the British public are now shacked up in old word war two shelters on the Isle of Mann in order to give her enough space to sleep... I joke, of course. She just likes the finer things in life. Which is probably why she came last in the match; she was far too preoccupied! She moves from ninth in the League down to tenth...
