Summary
So, Match Eleven. We are officially over halfway and we are beginning to think about the endgame. There has been quite a bit of shuffling about in the League this week, so let's get to it!
Grace is proving herself to be a bit of a Yahtzee wonder woman, finishing first in the Match. Those Welsh leeks must really be doing the trick for her. She moves up from third in the League to the very top! Go on lass!
Jordan came second in the Match with a fine display. Being a dyed in the wool Welshman, it's fair to say he's had his fair share of Leeks. And they seem to be kicking in. But he also has a great Yahtzee sensei in Grace! He moves from fifth in the League up to fourth. Can he do the unimaginable?
Molly, unbelievably came third in the Match. I don't know what happened, perhaps she had an out of body experience because a result like this is just not like her at all! So much so that I am worried about her! She moves from thirteenth in the League up to eleventh. Astonishing!
Lee came fourth in the Match. This is not a total surprise as he certainly has some Yahtzee chops, but he has been hit and miss lately. Maybe he was a bit more sober on the day than he usually is when he plays these days. If so, I hope he keeps it that way and chooses to get wasted after the Match like we all do! He does improve his League position though, moving from seventh up to sixth.
Jacob came fifth in the Match with a pretty good display. This guy knows his dice! To be fair, the dice that he is most familiar with have twenty sides and they are usually accompanied by a dungeon master, but he's making them sing either way. He remains second in the League but he has to keep his eye on the ball if he wants to maintain his Championship chances!
Neil finished joint sixth in the Match. Not a great position to finish in, but it IS Neil so it's actually bloody fantastic... for him. I'm joking, of course. He's actually improving when it comes to his scores. Don't get me wrong, he's still a dreadful person, but he's getting better at Yahtzee. He remains eighth in the League.
Lily also came joint sixth in the Match. She also seems to be improving. If only she can keep her intake (alcohol? Weed? Intravenous drugs?) in check, she could become a serious contender in the BHO. She moves up from last in the League up to joint thirteenth.
Chloe came eighth in the Match. She's holding her own at the moment, but I do think that she is letting silly, frivolous things get in the way of her progress like work and life. Unacceptable. She remains tenth in the League. But she could definitely do better, if only she would discard the important things in her life. Sometimes there's just no talking to some people!
I came ninth in the Match with another depressing score! I'm the chairman for Christ's sake! I should be setting an example! I am trying! Honest! Because of my shonky performances, I move from sixth in the League down to seventh. I am about to scream into my pillow!
Russell finished joint tenth in the Match. This is not a good result for the old man. It's very tight at the top of the League, so any mishap can have dire consequences! Unfortunately, this was the case. He moves from the top of the League down to third!!
Miles also finished joint tenth in the Match, continuing his run of poor form. This saddens me greatly. He can do so much better but I think that sometimes he lets his ADHD get in the way. I wish he would just focus more; every parent wants to see their children do well, after all! He moves from eleventh in the League down to twelfth.
Faith, another one that lets work and family life get in the way of Yahtzee (I'm joking, I know there is more to life than Yahtzee... to other people) came twelfth in the Match. She has always been a consistent player, unfortunately she has always been consistently poor. I take no pleasure saying this, but those are the facts. She moves from twelfth in the League down to joint thirteenth with Lily.
Millie finished fourteenth in the Match. She has been a solid contender so far, and one of our most consistent players. But hey, everyone is allowed a bad day at the office! Just as long as she doesn't make a habit of it! She moves from fourth in the League down to fifth.
Claire finished last in the Match and this was NOT in any way a surprise. She has been an absolute disappointment for a good long while now, especially as she is a former Champion... TWICE! I honestly don't know what is going on... I just know it isn't anything good! She moves from fourteenth in the League down to the very bottom... for shame!!!
