BHOF0001 - Cash Match - Match - 25/04/26 - Match Summary

In the interest of keeping the BHO fresh and "hip", I decided to add a bit of jazz to the regular friendly Matches that we play when we aren't playing the League or one of our many and varied Competitions. How did we do this? Well, by adding a cash incentive of course! After all, what games aren't improved by simply gambling on them? None, exactly! So that's precisely what we did. I will say that I had planned to play one Match at first, but the Idea was so well recieved that there were actually three Matches played... let's get into it!!

Match #1
1. Chris - £5.00 - 312pts
2. Molly - £0.00 - 265pts
=3. Neil - £0.00 - 226pts
=3. Russell - £0.00 - 226pts
5 Claire - £0.00 - 122pts

Summary
It was a normal Saturday. I was in a good mood, or an annoying mood if you ask everyone else, the sun was shining and I was visiting my sister again; because apparently MY house carries diseases so they couldn't possibly visit me! It wasn't a Legue week, so we normally have a friendly Match or two to pass the time. It was only then that I had the inspired, nay, genius, idea or playing for real, actual, money that actually spends so we can win real, actual, money that spends. I know, inspired. I was surprised when my idea was met with actual positivity that I nearly had a full blown panic attack! It is not often that my ideas get met witĥ such grace, so you could imagine my shock! And to my surprise, I came first too!! We each put a pound in so we were plaving for a fiver. Not a huge amount, but I would rather have a fiver than a haemorrhoid. Usually when I play for money I play like tosh because, be it a fiver or five hundred pound, I normally play worse than I would do otherwise. Why? Because I get over excited and play like a tool. Not this time. I was awesome! And I actually won some money to take back to my wife!!
Molly came second... but as it was a winner takes all Match, she walked away with nothing... ha ha ha! But she did actually do pretty well... BUT NOT WELL ENOUGH........ MWAHAHAHA!!!!!!!
Neil came third, and to be fair, he also did a good job... BUT NOT GOOD ENOUGH... MWAHAHAHA... Okay, okay, I'll stop doing that now. He played well, but he also hates to give away cash! So I was surprised he finished where he did. He is well knowing for cheating, this is the reason that it was a shocker when he did so poorly! He even took the defeat well. I made sure to check his temperature to ensure he wasn't ill.
Russell came fourth with a bit of a naff score. I'm not saying that he likes to lose, but he is no cheat, he can handle a loss and he loves to give away cash. His address and phone number are available on request. Just pretend to be the prince of Nigeria or something like that!
It seems even cadh wasn't even a good enought incentive for Claire to play well. She finished last, again! She played like a horse at the Grand National that fell at the first fence and was subsequently shot in the head! If she carries on like this she might find herself in some considerably debt. Makes a change from me, I suppose!

Match #2
1. Lee - £5.00 - 311pts
2. Chris - £0.00 - 228pts

Summary
Lee returned home soon after our first Match and I think he felt left out. I was also feeling a bit cocky so I decided to give him a Match. But, like I said, I was feeling a bit cocky, so I upped the ante. Five quid a Match. A price that Lee happily agreed to.
So, obviously, Lee came first. And I was skint again! It was a good match though! I made a fatal error though. Usually when Lee plays Yahtzee he is visiting Dr. Greenthumb. But on this particular day he had been out to the coast, so while he HAD partook in some herbal relief, he wasn't quite as monged as he usually would have been. I should have known this, so I have only myself to blame!!
If Lee came first, Obviously I came second. The score doesn't really do justice to the match as the game was a lot closer, for a lot longer than the conclusion would suggest. Don't get me wrong, he deserved the win, but the Match was a lot tighter than it looks on paper!

Match #3
1. Molly- £5.00 - 272pts
2. Lee - £0.00 - 265pts

Summary
It was now Lee's turn to get a bit cocky! And he was fully medicated by now! He now decided to challenge Molly... for a fiver.
For those that don't know, Molly is pretty much allergic to Yahtze, so I nearly fell off my chair (out of shock, not because I was pissed) when she jumped at the chance to take Lee for a fiver, although I do think it was more about the money than it was the dice!!
And she won!! Well done Molly! It was not exactly a barnstorming win, but who cares about that?! If you win the Match by one point or a hundred and fifty. A win is a bloody win! And she won! Taking the winnings with her! I expected her to be a cocky little shit about it, much like we all were but she was rather magnanimous about it! More magnanimous than me, anyway!!
Lee, quite obviously, came second. He was also quite dignified in defeat, be he did have murder in his heart if not on his face. I swear, this fiver has past through more hands than a pervert in a brothel hosting a Black Friday sale.
So in the end, there was one real winner (Molly) and plenty of losers (the rest of us!).
