Summary
On the same night as the Team Championship's rebirth, we were not going to rest on our laurels and leave it at that. NO! A thousand times no! We still have a Core Championship to play. And play we did.
It was a bit of a poor showing score-wise, but nevertheless, there's still a winner and a loser at the end of the day. Claire came first in the match. She was approximately 34 beers in at this point, but it didn't seem to phase her, she played with confidence and precision, even if she did look like a crackhead after her first hit in over a week. But, despite her valiant efforts, she remains third in the table. I managed second place, with a bit of a meager score. I'm starting to get a bit bloody fed up with been "a bit meager" when it matters, bearing in mind, me and my brother in law, Neil played a friendly and I get two flipping Yahtzees and get a score pushing five hundred. I say this not to brag, as I just don't have the right to do such a thing. I mention it to illustrate just how my rotten luck works against me. That being said however, I do, for now, retain the top spot in the Championship. Russell nestled himself in third place this week. Another shonky performance. He hasn't performed this badly since the night I was conceived... from what I've heard. Or he could just be suffering from flash backs from the time he was nearly killed by a Sabre Toothed Tiger. It was only due to luck that his knuckle dragging brethren happened to hear the commotion and eventually came to his aid. Either way, his wanky performance saw him stay at the bottom of the Championship for another week, at least. Kerrie finished last in the match, which was a bit of a shame as she could have really done with a win to knock me off my perch, so forgive me if I don't show TOO much sympathy. What I will say is that it's very rare you see Kerrie with such low scores, so I ain't celebrating just yet as I don't expect to see too many of those types of performances. She remains second in the Championship.
Core Championship Table as of 22/02/25
1. Chris - 3028
2. Kerrie - 2967
3. Claire - 2547
4. Russell - 2381
